Merchant Navy Course for Deck cadet

DNS – Diploma in Nautical Science

Duration – 1 Year

Qualifications – 10+2 passed or equivalent examination with an average PCM score of 60% and 50% in English language

Physical Standard – Medically fit as per Medical Examination Rules 2000.

Course

1- 1 Year course

2- 18 months training onboard

3- External examination consists of Foundation and Function

BSC in Nautical Science

Course – 3 years

Qualifications – 10+2 passed or equivalent examination with an average PCM score of 60% and 50% in English language

Physical Standard – Medically fit as per Medical Examination Rules 2000.

Merchant Navy Course Gp rating

Duration – 6 Months

Qualifications – A)10 passed with aggregate 40% marks from any recognized board with science and maths.

B) Minimum 40% marks in English lang either in 10th or 12th or diploma or degree exam.

C) 2 Year ITI in Fitter / Mechanic / Welder.

Age limit – 17.5 to 25 Years

Physical Standard – Medically fit as per Medical Examination Rules 2000.

Merchant Navy Course Saloon Rating

Course – 6 Months

Age – 17.5 to 25 Years

Qualifications – 10+2 Passed with aggregate 40% marks with English as a subject

Physical Standard – Medically fit as per Medical Examination Rules 2000.

B.E Marine Engineering

Course – 4 Years

Qualifications – 10+2 or equivalent with 60% in PCM and English as a subject

Physical Standard – Medically fit as per Medical Examination Rules 2000.

Merchant Navy Course ETO (Electro Technical Officer)

Qualification-

1)10+2 PCM & English(50% Marks either in class 10th or 12th )

2) Passed 3 Years Diploma with 60% marks or Passed 4 Years Degree including lateral entry with 50 % marks in B.E/B.Tech

Age – maximum 35 Years

Physical Standard – Medically fit as per Medical Examination Rules 2000.
